About 2000 person entrances of Wincor Visio GmbH which are installed in banks or other institutes in Germany, Austria, Switzerland are using TopSec fingerprint modules for fingerprint recognition.
Authorised persons at the banks are enrolled at PC or at master entrance and their fingerdata are downloaded to the entrances at other bank locations, so that persons can be identified at other bank locations also.
Those entrances are equipped with cameras and additional control techniques like person scales to ensure highest security requirements.
